StoreSync Hub – Product Sync ("we", "our", or "the App") is operated by ZenSoft Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you install and use our Shopify application.

1. Information We Collect

When you install StoreSync Hub, we access and process the following data through the Shopify API:

  • Store information: Shop domain, store name, and Shopify plan details required to authenticate and manage connections.
  • Product data: Product titles, descriptions, variants, prices, SKUs, barcodes, images, tags, metafields, and other product attributes for synchronization purposes.
  • Inventory data: Inventory levels and location information across your connected stores.
  • Collection data: Collection titles, descriptions, images, sort orders, and product membership.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data exclusively to:

  • Synchronize products, inventory, and collections between your connected Shopify stores.
  • Apply sync rules and exclusions as configured by you.
  • Provide sync dashboards, analytics, and error reporting.
  • Maintain sync logs for troubleshooting and audit purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

  • Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted on encrypted infrastructure.
  • We store product and collection ID mappings between stores to maintain sync relationships.
  • Sync logs are retained for 30 days and then automatically purged.
  • All data transmission occurs over HTTPS/TLS encrypted connections.
  • We do not store credit card information or customer personal data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Your data is only transmitted between your own connected Shopify stores as part of the synchronization process.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

  • When you uninstall the App, all store connection data and sync mappings are deleted within 48 hours.
  • Sync logs are permanently deleted within 30 days of uninstallation.
  • You may request immediate data deletion by contacting us.

6. GDPR & Compliance

We comply with Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks including customer data requests, customer data erasure, and shop data erasure. We process these requests in accordance with GDPR and applicable data protection regulations.

7. Cookies

The App uses only essential session cookies required for Shopify OAuth authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics within the app.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
